Our Story

From a simple idea to a nationwide movement helping thousands stay connected

How It All Began

Talk Now Mobile was founded in 2018 by Sarah Johnson, a former social worker who witnessed firsthand how the lack of communication tools created barriers for low-income families.

After helping a single mother miss a job opportunity because she couldn’t afford a phone, Sarah knew something needed to change. She assembled a team of telecom experts and policy specialists to create a service that would simplify access to government communication benefits.

Our Beginnings

2018

Founded in Los Angeles with a team of 3 people. Helped 127 families get connected in our first year.

2020

Expanded to 12 states. Partnered with FCC to improve application processes during the pandemic.

2022

Launched our tablet program. Helped over 15,000 students access remote learning devices.

2025

Now serving all 50 states with a team of 45 dedicated professionals. Over 50,000 Americans connected.
